I am currently in the process of overhauling my workflow, so what follows is very much a work-in-progress.
The Key Tools
- I have started to use DT Pro Office as my everything app. One database consisting of 4 head folders: personal, professional, research, and teaching.
- to search for (and open) files within DT, I use this script for Alfred (which requires the powerpack upgrade) and my Textexpander command “;dd” to auto-insert “devon” - thus, from any screen I can use Alfred to open files located within DT databases by typing "command command ;dd"
